Remembrance Day Art

This art project is done with green painters tape applied to watercolour paper. The students tore the tape and applied it as they wished in the shape of crosses. Then they did a light wash over top with watercolour paints. Finally, the students cut out poppies from red construction paper, added a black dot to the centres of the flowers and glued them onto their painting when dry. 
Take off the tape once the painting is dry.
